Truck Sales Executive – Mbombela

About the role

The Truck Sales Executive will be responsible for selling new trucks for our client in Mbombela. The role focuses on achieving profit and unit targets while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Sell the maximum number of new trucks to achieve profit and unit targets.
• Ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction in line with company sales policy.
• Complete transactions within targeted time frames and with required accuracy.
• Initiate and close deals independently and confidently.
• Monitor creditor balances to stay within agreed limits.
• Accurately record and register all vehicle transaction details.
• Complete all CPA and legal documentation accurately.
• Review daily activities, promotions, sales targets and other metrics with the Sales Manager.
• Participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise market penetration.
• Generate innovative ideas to expand the customer base and discuss pricing policy changes with the Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years sales experience in the truck industry with a proven track record.
• Matric/NQF Level 4 equivalent qualification.
• Valid Code 14 driver’s licence and a clear criminal record.
• Strong networking, canvassing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to conduct test drives, evaluate pre‑owned vehicles and maintain good internal and external relationships.
• Excellent communication across verbal, electronic and written mediums.
• Team‑player with a results‑oriented, positive attitude and attention to detail.
