Treasurer - EMEA

About the role

As a Treasurer for the EMEA region at dLocal, you will be responsible for overseeing liquidity and cash management across multiple jurisdictions to support high‑volume payment operations. You will collaborate with global Treasury, Operations, Product and Technology teams to optimise funding, mitigate financial risk and drive automation in a fast‑paced fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily liquidity positions and cash balances across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
• Prepare, maintain and analyse daily cash‑flow forecasts for assigned markets.
• Support the payouts team by ensuring adequate funding while optimising global liquidity utilisation.
• Identify potential funding gaps and execute proactive funding strategies to minimise operational risk.
• Oversee surplus cash management to maximise returns within defined risk controls.
• Execute and supervise merchant, vendor and inter‑company settlements.
• Perform treasury transactions using various banking platforms and payment systems.
• Implement and evidence required SOX controls and treasury governance procedures.
• Monitor foreign‑exchange exposures and support FX execution across assigned markets.
• Identify opportunities to automate, simplify and scale treasury processes using technology, data and AI, and drive continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related discipline (essential).
• 4–7 years of treasury experience within banking, fintech or financial services.
• Proven experience managing liquidity across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
• Experience supporting high‑volume payment operations and cross‑border payment flows.
• Background in a multinational organisation.
