Treasurer - Cash Centre Operations

About the role

Fidelity Services Group is recruiting a Treasurer for its Fidelity Cash Solutions division in Parow, Cape Town. This is a permanent operations position reporting to the Cash Centre Manager, focused on processing deposits in line with contractual agreements. It suits candidates with cash centre experience and strong numerical and administrative skills.

Key responsibilities

• Collect bulk cash from and return it to vaults
• Perform treasury balancing and float checks
• Complete daily stock submissions and monthly stock orders
• Sort fit and unfit banknotes
• Pack ATMs
• Take part in daily operations meetings
• Respond to client queries
• Carry out general administrative duties

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• At least 2 years' cash centre or similar experience
• Clear criminal and disciplinary records
• Ability to work night shifts and overtime
• Comfortable handling cash, following procedures accurately and resolving operational challenges
• Advantageous: treasury balancing experience
