Travel Agent

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Travel Agent to manage corporate travel arrangements across domestic, regional and international destinations. The role involves booking flights, accommodation, ground transport, visas and related services while ensuring compliance with company travel policies and delivering excellent support to travellers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and process travel bookings, including flights, hotels, car hires and transfers.
• Handle travel requests through appropriate approval channels and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist travellers with itinerary planning, visa applications and foreign‑exchange arrangements.
• Provide travel advice, manage changes, cancellations and disruptions, and liaise with suppliers.
• Process supplier payments, invoices and refunds, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers to promote cost‑effective travel practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in corporate travel consulting or management.
• Proven ability to handle multiple travel requests under pressure.
• Strong administrative and organisational capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Galileo global distribution system (GDS).
