About the role

We are partnering with an established transport and logistics company to find a proactive Transport Broker. The ideal candidate will leverage strong industry relationships to generate new freight business and grow a profitable portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new, profitable freight opportunities.
• Achieve revenue and gross‑profit targets in line with agreed goals.
• Build and maintain a sustainable customer portfolio.
• Expand and manage the company’s approved transporter network.
• Handle opportunities from initial enquiry through to successful implementation.
• Prepare quotations, rate schedules, customer proposals and operational documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer and transporter records.
• Manage ongoing customer communication and follow‑up processes.
