About the role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Transport Broker to help grow our client’s freight business in Durban. The role focuses on identifying and securing profitable freight opportunities, expanding the customer base and building a strong network of approved transporters.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and secure new profitable freight opportunities.
- Grow revenue and gross profit within agreed targets.
- Build and maintain a sustainable portfolio of customers.
- Expand the company’s approved transporter network.
- Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to successful implementation.
- Contribute to overall company growth.
Required profile
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for business development.
- Experience in transport or freight brokerage.
- Ability to meet revenue and profit targets.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with customers and transport partners.
