Transfer Pricing Expert

About the role

The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) is looking for a Transfer Pricing Expert to strengthen its in‑house technical capacity and support member countries in tackling abusive transfer pricing and illicit financial flows.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to member countries, including in‑country scoping missions to design tailored transfer pricing programmes.
• Support the development of transfer pricing and international tax policy and administrative products and promote their adoption.
• Design and deliver capacity‑building programmes, including tax academy support and continental or regional training.
• Represent ATAF at OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework meetings, UN Tax Committees and other global standard‑setting forums.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials, tax professionals, business leaders and partner organisations.
• Contribute to internal planning, budgeting and coordination of transfer pricing activities.
• Identify and recommend international best practices and strategic partnerships.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in transfer pricing and international tax matters.
• Experience delivering technical assistance and capacity‑building programmes to tax administrations.
• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and represent an organisation in international forums.
• Strong analytical and policy‑development skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi‑country, multi‑disciplinary team.
