About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Trainee Manager to join our retail team in Umhlanga, Durban. This entry‑level management position offers the chance to develop leadership skills while driving store performance in a fast‑paced fashion environment.
Key responsibilities
- Drive turnover and achieve sales targets.
- Control risk and manage stock losses to keep shrinkage within company standards.
- Lead people management activities including recruitment, staff development, employee relations and performance management.
- Maintain store presentation in line with brand standards.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by executing the company’s service strategy.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of fashion retail management experience.
- Proven record of accurate stock takes.
- Strong leadership and results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent customer care and people skills.
- High attention to detail and sense of urgency.
