Trainee Call Centre Agent – Fixed Term

About the role

Join Old Mutual's RMM team within Mass Foundation as a Trainee Call Centre Agent. You will provide inbound and outbound telephone support to low‑ and emerging‑middle‑income customers, helping them access financial solutions while developing your call‑centre skills under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Handle client queries via telephone in line with call‑centre standards.
• Escalate complex issues to senior agents.
• Take inbound calls, share relevant information and aim to resolve calls at first contact.
• Develop a moderate level of technical knowledge across products and processes.
• Work flexible hours: Monday‑Friday 8 am–7 pm, Saturday 8 am–1 pm.

Required profile

• Matriculation Certificate (Matric) required.
• Proof of registration for tertiary studies at the time of application.
• Strong accountability, communication and customer‑focus orientation.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet productivity targets.
