About the role

Join Forvis Mazars in Durban as a Trainee Accountant on a three‑year CA(SA) training programme. You will gain hands‑on audit experience across a variety of industries while preparing for the professional examinations required to become a Chartered Accountant (SA).

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures for clients in diverse sectors.
• Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and working papers.
• Progress through the articleship to meet the qualification requirements for CA(SA).
• Prepare for and sit the IAC and APC examinations.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year accounting student with a strong academic record.
• Motivation to pursue a CA(SA) qualification.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast‑changing audit setting.
