Trainee Accountant (CA(SA)) – 3-Year Training Programme

About the role

We are looking for ambitious individuals to join Forvis Mazars’ 3‑year trainee accountant programme in Durban. As a trainee you will integrate theoretical knowledge with practical audit experience across diverse industries, working towards qualification as a Chartered Accountant (SA).

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures for clients in various sectors.
• Progress through articles and meet milestones required for CA(SA) qualification.
• Prepare for and sit the IAC and APC examinations.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student eager to start a professional accounting career.
• Innovative, adaptable and team‑oriented with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and development.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and audit processes.
