Trade Reconciliation Clerk (3-6 month Fixed-Term)

About the role
The Trade Reconciliation Clerk will verify supplier invoices, prepare monthly reconciliations and support month‑end payment processing for a 3‑6 month fixed‑term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Supplier invoice verification in SAP (≈455 invoices/month), investigating pricing and stock discrepancies, raising claims and communicating discrepancies to suppliers within 14 days.
- Obtain supplier statements and perform 40‑50 reconciliations per month, following up outstanding items to ensure none exceed 60 days.
- Month‑end processing: flag items in SAP, prepare and execute payments, process correction journals, verify payment runs and forward remittances.
- Maintain and file all invoices, reconciliations and claim records on a monthly basis.
- Demonstrate self‑management and teamwork by owning tasks, meeting quality standards, communicating risks and supporting training initiatives.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication with suppliers, depots and internal teams.
- Proactive problem‑solving and ownership of reconciliation issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Required skills
- SAP (invoice and payment processing module).
