Till Operator / Customer Assistant – Clothing (Eikestad)

About the role

Join Woolworths as a Till Operator / Customer Assistant at the Eikestad store in Stellenbosch. You will be the front‑line representative, handling transactions, promoting loyalty programmes and providing additional services such as bill payments.

Key responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
• Promote Woolworths loyalty programmes and up‑sell relevant products.
• Assist customers with enquiries, product information and store services.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe checkout area.
• Handle cash, card and other payment methods in line with store policies.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent NQF qualification.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with basic selling skills.
• Excellent communication, numeracy and literacy abilities.
• Reliability, punctuality and adherence to dress code and store policies.

Required skills

• Basic point‑of‑sale (POS) operation.
• Cash handling and transaction accuracy.
