Textile Graphic Designer

About the role

We are seeking a creative Textile Graphic Designer to join a leading textile manufacturer in Durban. The role focuses on designing, reviewing, and overseeing print designs for home textiles that are supplied to major retail chains across South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design and create print graphics for a wide range of home textile products.
• Produce mock‑ups and prototypes for client presentations and internal reviews.
• Collaborate closely with production, prototype, and key account teams to meet tight deadlines.
• Ensure colour accuracy, file format suitability and overall design quality.
• Stay up‑to‑date with fashion and graphic trends in the home‑textile industry.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of graphic design experience in the fashion or textile sector, with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality output.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop.
• Competence with Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience using Adobe Freehand.
