Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Klipboard is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to design, build, test and deploy robust automation solutions. You will work closely with the Test Automation Lead and QA leadership to align automation with functional testing efforts and improve overall test coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in selecting automation tools and frameworks for component testing.
• Review requirements, system architecture and design documents to identify automation opportunities.
• Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium or Playwright, primarily with C#.
• Perform static code analysis and report complexity metrics.
• Integrate automated test suites into the test management tool and maintain them.
• Contribute to estimation, planning, cost‑of‑quality and risk analysis.
• Implement automation for web and mobile applications, including database impact, regression, negative and bug‑retest scenarios.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of test automation principles and best practices.
• Ability to communicate testing activities and findings clearly in both oral and written formats.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to define automation strategy.
