Territory Sales & Business Development Representative

About the role

Helios, a premium outdoor lifestyle brand, is seeking a driven Territory Sales & Business Development Representative to expand its presence across the Garden Route and Eastern Cape. This field‑based position involves meeting prospects, delivering product presentations, and building lasting relationships with hospitality and design clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities from Still Bay to Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth.
• Build and nurture relationships with hotels, resorts, guesthouses, restaurants, coffee shops, wine estates, architects, interior designers, landscapers, and property developers.
• Conduct client visits, deliver professional product presentations, and prepare quotations.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, achieve monthly targets, and submit weekly activity reports.
• Provide after‑sales support, respond to enquiries, and ensure long‑term customer satisfaction.
• Represent Helios at networking events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of external sales or business development experience.
• Proven track record of generating new business.
• Experience in hospitality, furniture, interiors, or premium product sales is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, organised, target‑driven, with a valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
