Temporary Primary School Teacher Assistant

About the role

SPARK Schools is seeking a temporary Primary School Teacher Assistant to support classroom and blended‑learning environments at its Theresa Park campus. Working under the guidance of a mentor teacher, you will co‑plan and co‑teach lessons, help monitor student progress, and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑plan and co‑teach in‑person and online lessons alongside a mentor teacher.
• Lead intervention and acceleration sessions to support diverse learner needs.
• Deliver select lessons for practice and receive feedback.
• Assist with assessments, grading of small tasks, and homework.
• Facilitate academic clubs, enrichment activities, and project‑based learning.
• Personalise instruction using data‑driven decisions and technology‑enhanced differentiation.
• Support coding and robotics sessions and manage classroom technology.
• Track scholar performance, update personalised learning plans, and analyse data for targeted interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators on lesson planning, marking, and professional development activities.
