Telesales Consultant – Cape Town

About the role

As a Sales Consultant at Zestlife you will deliver exceptional sales service, generating new business and growing existing client relationships to support the company’s profitability and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Sell short‑ and long‑term insurance products through outbound calls, generating new business and upselling to existing clients.
• Provide a positive customer experience, addressing needs and concerns promptly.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall company profitability.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure loyalty and retention.
• Stay informed about insurance products, industry trends and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with FAIS and other regulatory standards.
• Use probing and questioning techniques to identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, sales and related information.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve sales skills and product knowledge.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales call‑centre experience, selling short or long‑term insurance.
• Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
• Relevant Experience (RE) qualification is advantageous.
• FAIS compliance based on DOFA date, including a wealth‑management qualification where required.
