Telemarketing Sales Agent

About the role

Join homechoice as a Telemarketing Sales Agent in a high‑volume outbound sales environment. You will work in a fast‑paced contact centre, driving sales and representing the brand while meeting ambitious targets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales by consistently achieving and exceeding agreed targets in an outbound dialler setting.
• Present, promote and sell homechoice products/services to qualified prospects, overcoming objections and closing deals.
• Maintain high levels of productivity, adherence, turnaround time and quality performance.
• Accurately capture and update customer information in real time, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
• Take ownership of personal performance and sustain momentum in a pressurised, target‑driven environment.
• Represent the homechoice brand professionally while delivering a results‑focused customer experience.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) – mandatory.
• 2–3 years proven outbound sales/telemarketing experience in a contact centre (preferred).
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong objection‑handling and closing abilities.
• Understanding of dialler systems and high‑volume outbound calling.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Fluent in English and at least two additional South African languages (preferred).
• Target‑driven with the ability to sustain high performance.
• Clear understanding of a performance‑managed contact centre environment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Email, Internet, Word, Excel).
• Clear criminal and ITC record; not debarred under the FAIS Act.
