About the role
Join homechoice as a Telemarketing Sales Agent in a high‑volume outbound sales environment. You will work in a fast‑paced contact centre, driving sales and representing the brand while meeting ambitious targets.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales by consistently achieving and exceeding agreed targets in an outbound dialler environment.
- Present, promote and sell homechoice products/services to qualified potential customers.
- Maintain high levels of productivity, adherence, turnaround time and quality performance.
- Accurately capture and update customer information in real time, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- Take ownership of personal performance and sustain momentum in a pressurised, target‑driven setting.
- Represent the homechoice brand professionally while delivering a results‑focused customer experience.
- Remain adaptable and resilient under pressure.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) – mandatory.
- 2–3 years proven outbound sales/telemarketing experience within a contact centre (preferred).
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong objection‑handling and closing abilities.
- Sound understanding of dialler systems and high‑volume outbound calling.
- Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
- Fluent in English and at least two additional South African languages (preferred).
- Target‑driven with the ability to sustain high performance.
- Clear understanding of a performance‑managed contact‑centre environment.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Email, Internet, Word, Excel).
- Clear criminal and ITC record; not debarred under the FAIS Act.
