Tekla Technical Support Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tekla professional to join a specialist construction‑technology environment as a Tekla Technical Support Consultant. The role is based in South Africa (Centurion or Cape Town) and will be performed on a hybrid basis, combining remote assistance with occasional on‑site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Tekla Structures, Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Tedds and related products.
• Diagnose and resolve software, modelling and configuration issues, reproducing and testing customer‑reported problems.
• Support customers via telephone, email, WhatsApp, remote tools and occasional on‑site visits.
• Manage software licensing, activation and onboarding for new users.
• Customize drawings, reports, templates, profiles and bolt configurations.
• Maintain and improve the Tekla South Africa environment, testing new updates and fixes before release.
• Prepare and deliver training sessions and supporting material for end‑users.
• Assist internal teams with pre‑sales technical support and contribute to product demonstrations, launches and seminars.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience with Tekla Structures in an AEC or construction setting.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
