Technology Recruiter (AI/ML focus)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing New York‑based recruitment agency that specialises in AI and machine‑learning startups. As a Technology Recruiter you will operate from South Africa, aligning your work hours with US Eastern time to manage the full candidate journey for high‑calibre talent across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Source and engage AI/ML candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Atlas CRM, JuiceBox and targeted outreach.
• Conduct structured candidate screens, evaluating technical background, market fit and role alignment.
• Maintain proactive pipelines, nurture relationships and communicate clearly throughout the process.
• Match screened candidates to live job briefs and present qualified profiles to account managers.
• Revive and enrich existing records in the Atlas database while continuously building new talent pipelines.
• Participate in client briefing calls and leverage AI tools (transcripts, LLMs) to refine sourcing strategies.
• Contribute ideas to improve sourcing workflows and candidate engagement.

Required profile

• Proven 360 or delivery‑focused recruitment experience, preferably in tech, AI, data or engineering.
• Hands‑on experience recruiting for the US market, understanding its culture and legal nuances.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self‑starter mentality with the ability to manage time independently.
• Willingness to work US‑aligned hours from South Africa.
• Ambitious and motivated by performance‑based earnings.

What we offer

• Base salary ranging from R30,000 to R46,500 per month.
• Commission per placement: $750‑$1,500 depending on fee tier.
