Technician – Maintenance & Technical Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technician to support the maintenance and optimisation of our technical systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving productivity and ensuring that hardware, software and networking components operate efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on IT hardware and related equipment.
• Install, configure and update software applications across multiple locations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing timely troubleshooting support.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance system efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless technical operations.

Required profile

• Matriculation (high school) qualification.
• COMPTIA A+ certification (Essentials and Core).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage stress, resolve conflicts and work towards targets.
• Attention to detail, integrity and a customer‑centric mindset.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of IT hardware components and repair.
• Experience with software installations.
• Understanding of networking systems (advantageous).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
