Technician – Heavy Vehicle Repair & Maintenance

About the role

The Technician is responsible for delivering high‑quality repairs and maintenance on heavy‑duty vehicles. The role combines technical expertise with a commercial mindset to ensure customer satisfaction, on‑time delivery and workplace safety.

Key responsibilities

• Secure the right information, tools and spare parts before any maintenance or repair event.
• Perform repairs and maintenance using documented methods and standards, ensuring safety and correctness.
• Minimise invoicing lead time after work by providing clear descriptions of performed tasks and hand‑over notes.
• Follow defined processes, standards and guidelines to meet quality and safety targets.

Required profile

• Matric certificate or N3 (or equivalent).
• Qualified Diesel Technician with a Trade Test Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a workshop repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles.
• Current employment in the same role for at least 1 year.
