Technician – Cash Acceptance Devices

About the role

The Technician will provide professional, efficient field service for cash acceptance devices across Ermelo. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to all cash acceptance device calls from Management, the Installations Team, and the Call Centre.
• Perform on‑site installations, repairs, maintenance, and testing of cash acceptance devices.
• Diagnose technical errors, determine appropriate solutions, and document actions.
• Produce detailed reports, update job cards, and maintain SLA records.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and adhere to all company procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and build positive relationships with customers.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Technical experience with cash acceptance equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Grade C PSIRA registration.
