Technical Representative – Airbus Helicopters License Required

About the role

The South African Customer Centre of Airbus, a world leader in the helicopter industry, is seeking a Technical Representative who holds a valid Airbus Helicopters licence. The role provides field technical support to a defined customer base, acting as the primary contact for all technical queries and complaints.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical guidance and best‑practice recommendations to customers.
• Respond to maintenance queries and coordinate with Level 2/3 support to resolve issues within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain detailed logs of customer queries and ensure timely communication with internal departments.
• Conduct scheduled customer visits and record outcomes via the Customer Visits Report Portal (WebTek).
• Perform field interventions such as fault finding, technical assessments, and helicopter maintenance or repairs under the AHZA organisation.
• Produce accurate reports, communicate corrective actions, and coach junior technicians.

Required profile

• Valid licence on the Airbus Helicopters range.
• Strong knowledge of helicopter maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in the field.
• Commitment to compliance, integrity and high customer‑satisfaction levels.
