Technical Project Manager - Security Alarm Systems

About the role

Fidelity Services Group is looking for a Technical Project Manager to oversee the rollout and integration of a security alarm system across a national multi-site project. The role covers planning, scheduling, coordination, material and resource planning, and documentation, delivering the project within specified costs, timeframes and quality while collaborating with stakeholders across several matrix organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, scope and planned costs, and define the skills needed to execute the project
• Assign internal and external resources and develop a work breakdown structure for each task
• Define project results, manage the risk register and execute the project
• Manage quality and standards, update project plans and progress, and report portfolio progress to the business
• Generate completion documentation and hand over the finished project with all relevant documents

Required profile

• Project Management qualification (essential)
• Minimum 5-10 years' experience managing large rollout projects
• Matric (minimum); tertiary qualification preferred
• Preferred: technical experience in security alarms or related fields, people management experience at various levels, and computer literacy (MS Office, email, internet)
• Flexible or extended hours; own transport
