Technical Manager – Heat Pump Division

About the role

The Heat Pump Division is seeking a technically strong engineering leader to own engineering integrity and project delivery quality across the Gauteng operation. Reporting to the CEO, the Technical Manager will ensure commercial proposals are technically validated, projects are executed to high standards, and installations comply with specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Validate technical aspects of commercial proposals.
• Oversee project execution quality and commissioning activities.
• Provide on‑site problem‑solving and technical decision‑making.
• Lead project managers, installation teams, and technical staff.
• Identify technical risks early and enforce high standards throughout delivery.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in HVAC, building services, or mechanical systems.
• Proven track record in project delivery and managing technical teams.
• Strong understanding of commercial installations, site coordination, and design review.
• Experience with hydronic, commercial hot‑water, heat‑pump, plant‑room and pumped systems is highly preferred.
