Technical Chemical Sales Executive (Hybrid)

About the role

Mirror Images is seeking a Technical Chemical Sales Executive to drive business development and manage key accounts for chemical raw materials. The position blends technical knowledge of water purification and agricultural chemicals with strong sales acumen, and will be performed in a hybrid work mode based in Cape Town’s CBD.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and penetrate new client accounts within manufacturing sectors.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow market share.
• Provide technical consulting on chemical raw materials, especially for water purification and agricultural applications.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Present proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
• Maintain and strengthen long‑term client relationships.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of sales experience with chemical commodities.
• Background in water purification and/or agricultural industries is preferred.
• Well‑groomed, professional appearance with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong time‑management and target‑driven mindset.
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of chemical raw materials and commodities.
• Understanding of water purification processes.
• Familiarity with agricultural chemical applications.
