Team Member - OR Tambo

About the role

KFC Rohloff Group is looking for a Customer Service Team Member in OR Tambo. You will help create memorable guest experiences through friendly, efficient service, quality food preparation, high standards of cleanliness and food safety. The role suits people who enjoy a fast-paced environment and working as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and handling cash and card transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Replenish stock and keep service areas well stocked.
• Support front-of-house, middle-of-house and back-of-house operations as required.
• Assist with basic food preparation and order assembly when needed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and quality standards at all times.
• Work with the team to keep operations running smoothly and resolve guest queries professionally.
• Clean designated areas such as storerooms and the kitchen.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) with a bachelor's degree endorsement (University Exemption).
• Previous experience as a cashier, front-of-house or middle-of-house team member.
• Experience in customer service, restaurant, retail, hospitality or food service.
• Within 15 km of the job location and a clear criminal record.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to perform physically active duties, stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced restaurant.
