Restaurant General Manager (RGM) - OR Tambo

About the role

KFC Rohloff Group is looking for a Restaurant General Manager to take ownership of a busy, fast-paced restaurant in OR Tambo. The role involves leading and developing the team, delivering excellent customer service, driving sales and profitability, and maintaining high operational standards through leadership, coaching and performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team to consistently meet CHAMPS standards: Cleanliness, Hospitality, Accuracy, Maintenance, Product and Speed of Service.
• Drive sales growth, profitability and Business Scorecard performance through operational and financial management.
• Manage restaurant shifts, labour scheduling, stock control and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, health and safety, security and cash control standards.
• Analyse operational and financial performance and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop a high-performing team and foster a positive, accountable workplace.
• Support local store marketing initiatives and uphold KFC brand standards.
• Protect the safety and security of employees, customers, company assets and funds.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) with admission to a Higher Certificate, Diploma or Degree programme.
• 3-5 years of management experience in hospitality or the quick service restaurant industry.
• Passion for product quality, customer service and pride in the KFC brand.
• Lives within 25 km of the job, with a clean criminal and credit record.
