Team Leader – Processing Operations

About the role

The Processing Team Leader will oversee daily production activities, ensuring consistent product quality while managing stock, waste, and administrative tasks. This role combines hands‑on supervision with coordination across departments to maintain high standards in a food‑and‑beverage environment.

Key responsibilities

• Blend and produce consistent‑quality products.
• Manage bulk stock levels and minimise losses or write‑offs.
• Maintain effective administrative housekeeping and documentation.
• Supervise, motivate and develop team members.
• Verify that incoming products meet company specifications.
• Coordinate with production, quality, finance and hygiene departments.
• Plan and schedule daily tasks and ensure quality‑management documents are up‑to‑date.
• Participate in internal and self‑audits.
• Ensure correct filtration materials are used for each product.
• Oversee finance, quality and hygiene internal controls.
• Manage cellar processes according to Total Productivity Management (TPM) standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in Food Technology, Food Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry or Chemistry.
• Knowledge of spirits and wines.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team, preferably in an MDT environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work independently under pressure.
• Self‑motivated, action‑driven and able to innovate.
• Excellent leadership and conflict‑handling skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical aptitude.
