Team Leader – Premium Retail Store

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to manage the day‑to‑day operations of a premium retail store in Tygervalley. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure a high‑quality shopping experience and drive sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily store operations.
• Lead, motivate and coach the sales team to meet individual and store sales targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a premium shopping environment.
• Supervise staff performance, provide feedback and organise training.
• Assist with staff scheduling and allocation of daily tasks.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and overall store presentation.
• Monitor stock levels, support stock control and minimise losses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and health & safety standards.
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Support store administration, opening/closing procedures and operational reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years management or supervisory experience in a retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Track record of achieving sales targets and maintaining operational standards.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail setting with flexible trading hours.
• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
