Team Leader (Gaming & Betting)

About the role

Hollywoodbets is seeking a dynamic Team Leader to manage its Ladysmith branch. The role combines customer interaction, cash handling, and operational oversight in a fast‑paced gaming environment. You will lead a team to deliver excellent service while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive branch growth by meeting targets, educating guests on products, and keeping betting boards and memos up to date.
• Manage cash administration, including daily banking schedules, float allocation, FICA compliance, and reconciliation of shifts.
• Oversee recovery processes, lost ticket claims, and ensure correct handling of high‑limit bets.
• Ensure adherence to credit‑card and EFT policies and monitor confirmation limits for large bets.
• Produce daily operational reports, control stock levels, and coordinate weekly stock‑taking.
• Maintain security standards: monitor cameras, manage panic‑button locations, and supervise cash‑up procedures with doors closed.
• Communicate shortages to the Branch Manager, Senior Team Leader, and Cash Management Department promptly.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years experience in a leadership role.
• Minimum one year working in the gaming or betting industry.
• Strong ability to understand customer needs and handle diverse personalities.
