Team Leader – Food & Beverage (Durban)

About the role

Join Hollywoodbets as a Team Leader for Food & Beverage in Durban. You will oversee shift operations, manage staff, and ensure smooth delivery of food and beverage services in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure internal Food & Beverage processes are followed and the department is adequately staffed for each shift.
• Manage Food & Beverage staff during the shift, including conduct, discipline and performance.
• Oversee stock management: request front‑of‑house stock, conduct stock counts, reconcile inventory and report variances.
• Maintain the GAAP/POS system operational during all working hours.
• Monitor waste, breakage and staff meal purchases, ensuring accurate recording.
• Handle cash management, address shortages and ensure proper cash procedures.
• Rostering staff to meet busy periods, events and operating hours.
• Deliver superior customer service and ensure a high‑quality guest experience.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly Food & Beverage reports.

Required profile

• 1–2 years supervisory experience in the Hospitality/Food & Beverage industry.
• 1–2 years experience in stock control.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).

Required skills

• Proficiency with the GAAP system.
• Experience using POS systems for inventory and sales tracking.
