Talent & Leadership Development Lead - Africa

About the role

Network International is seeking a Talent & Leadership Development Lead for South & East Africa. Based in South Africa, you will partner with senior leaders to shape leadership capability, drive talent reviews and build succession pipelines across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise‑wide leadership development frameworks, high‑potential pathways and manager capability programmes.
• Lead Group‑level talent review cycles, including calibration, succession mapping and readiness assessments.
• Translate succession insights into measurable development plans, coaching pathways and exposure‑driven readiness activities.
• Partner with regional functional heads to diagnose capability gaps and adapt leadership programmes to local needs.
• Support BBBEE Skills Development compliance and accreditation of learning programmes.
• Use data and evaluation metrics to assess programme impact and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leadership development, talent management or HR consulting within a multi‑market environment.
• Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently across several countries and influence senior executives.
• Consulting mindset with a focus on building capability and succession pipelines.
