Talent Consultant – Recruitment & Talent Engagement

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Talent Consultant to support recruitment and talent engagement across the UK and international markets. Based in Cape Town, you will work remotely with a hybrid schedule, collaborating with senior leadership to build pipelines, run candidate marketing campaigns, and maintain high‑quality CRM data.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively pool talent and map markets in target sectors.
• Source and qualify candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, CRM systems and AI tools.
• Cleanse, administer and manage CRM data, creating and updating candidate hotlists.
• Coordinate the STAR Candidate marketing process and schedule meetings for senior consultants.
• Draft candidate summaries, outreach messages and marketing content.
• Maintain structured recruitment workflows and support automation initiatives.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in internal or agency recruitment.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter and sourcing tools.
• Comfort using AI tools such as OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude and automation platforms.
• Strong organisational, detail‑oriented and process‑driven approach.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, with confidence engaging candidates and clients.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate with UK‑based teams.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
