Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

OpenSource Intelligent Solutions (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Johannesburg team. The role focuses on sourcing and placing IT and SAP professionals in both contract and permanent positions within a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from business development to post‑hire follow‑up.
• Partner with hiring managers and clients to define technical and cultural requirements.
• Identify, engage and build pipelines of top IT and SAP talent using LinkedIn, job portals, referrals and headhunting.
• Conduct technical interviews, competency assessments and ensure strong candidate‑client alignment.
• Negotiate offers, handle counter‑offers and guide candidates through onboarding.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients in the IT and SAP sectors.
• Provide market intelligence, salary benchmarks and strategic talent insights.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking sessions.

Required profile

• Matriculation and minimum 5 years of experience in IT and SAP recruitment.
• Proven 360‑degree recruitment track record with achievement of placement targets.
• Ability to generate own client leads and secure new business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
