System Support Analyst – SAP PM

About the role

The System Support Analyst – SAP PM will join the Asset Management department of a global gold mining organization. You will be responsible for delivering end‑to‑end SAP Plant Maintenance solutions, from system design through testing and user enablement, to improve business processes across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Translate functional business requirements into technical specifications for SAP PM system changes.
• Perform unit acceptance testing in EQ1, coordinate with Accenture, and communicate monthly release updates to site teams.
• Improve SAP PM master data and monitor TM1 HME integration to support short‑term budgeting.
• Manage end‑user incidents via ServiceNow and SysAid, maintain user profiles, and process access requests through GRC.
• Conduct skills‑gap assessments, provide one‑on‑one coaching, and develop a dedicated SAP Superuser at each site.
• Ensure compliance with the core Work Management process using metrics and transaction spot checks.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline.
• SAP PM certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP PM; SAP MM experience is advantageous.
• Understanding of heavy‑industry asset management, risk/change management, and the mining value chain.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
