Syspro Administrator – ERP System Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Syspro Administrator to join a well‑established multi‑unit organisation that relies heavily on its ERP platform to drive operational efficiency. In this role you will ensure the Syspro system runs smoothly, supports critical business processes and delivers a reliable user experience across finance, sales and stock control functions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support the Syspro ERP system across all business units.
• Provide first‑line user support, troubleshoot issues and coordinate escalations.
• Configure and maintain system modules such as finance, sales and inventory.
• Manage user access, roles and permissions in line with business requirements.
• Develop and maintain reports using Syspro tools and Microsoft Excel.
• Monitor system uptime, performance and reliability, performing routine health checks.
• Deliver user training and create training documentation.
• Assist with system upgrades, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support broader IT issues as required and maintain system security, backups and disaster‑recovery procedures.

Required profile

• Qualification in Information Systems or a related field.
• Proven experience administering ERP systems, preferably Syspro.
• Experience providing end‑user support in a business environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Syspro ERP administration and configuration.
• Microsoft SQL Server and scripting.
• Programming/scripting knowledge such as C#.
• ODBC configuration and reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel for reporting.
