Supply Operator

About the role
The Supply Operator supports daily operations within a manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient handling of materials and equipment. This role involves testing barrels, assisting with wood product alternatives, and maintaining safe and organized work areas.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily barrel testing.
- Assist with alternative wood product processes.
- Load and off‑load trucks.
- Carry out ad‑hoc duties in other cooperage departments.
- Maintain housekeeping and risk control standards.
- Load effluent water into trucks.
- Actively participate in all TPM activities.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
- Physically fit, strong and healthy to handle heavy lifting and dusty conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime, irregular hours, and in other departments or locations as required.
- Punctuality and reliable attendance.
