Supply & IMS Planner – Manufacturing & Logistics

About the role

Nestlé is seeking a Supply & IMS Planner to join its Bryanston team. You will be responsible for creating and managing supply and production plans that ensure fresh finished goods are available at the right locations, on time and at optimal cost.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate supply plans and net dispatch requirements, producing 18‑month production plans for the factory.
• Balance product availability with inventory cost, maintaining optimal stock levels across locations.
• Manage exceptions by analysing issues, making business decisions and adjusting plans accordingly.
• Maintain sustainable customer service levels for domestic and inter‑market customers while meeting working‑capital and freshness targets.
• Establish and review stock policies for finished goods, proactively addressing deviations.
• Identify volume‑variance issues, challenge existing logistics and planning processes, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimise lot sizes and cycle times, and support demand planners to improve forecasting accuracy.

Required profile

• Degree or national diploma in Industrial Engineering, B‑Tech or equivalent with a focus on Planning or Logistics.
• Minimum two years of operational experience at market or business level in production planning, supply network/IMS planning or related demand‑supply roles.
