Sub-Product Owner (Expert) – SAP FI, Tax, AWM, Jira/Confluence

About the role

Join a global technology‑driven organisation delivering enterprise‑scale SAP solutions. As a Sub‑Product Owner you will lead the delivery of tax compliance solutions, translating business needs into actionable product backlog items while working in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate scope of work into epics and user stories that meet Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
• Assign user stories to team members for each sprint and monitor progress in daily stand‑ups.
• Identify, resolve or escalate impediments to keep delivery on track.
• Review deliverables to ensure they meet functional and technical requirements.
• Communicate continuously about requirement fulfillment and raise escalations when needed.
• Align with stakeholders on new requirements, resource needs and operational challenges.
• Support the functional team with SAP issue resolution and propose improvements to business processes.
• Help define the strategic direction of the product and prioritize the backlog based on budget and capacity.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sub‑Product Owner or similar Agile product role.
• Deep functional expertise in SAP FI with a strong focus on tax determination.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and business teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and solution‑oriented approach.
