Structural Engineer – Design & Project Management

About the role

WSP is looking for a Structural Engineer to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions within a multidisciplinary consulting environment. The role involves designing, analysing and managing structural projects while ensuring compliance with ISO quality standards and safety policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct major structural engineering assignments and prepare technical reports.
• Plan, organise and control complex projects, recommending alternative solutions when needed.
• Design and analyse reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Lead small design teams, monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Act as a liaison between clients and project teams, promoting SHEQ standards and a zero‑harm workplace.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience, with PR Eng status or eligibility for registration.
• Civil engineering or project management experience is advantageous.
• Proven record of delivering projects in deadline‑driven environments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with office and construction teams.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
