Striker - Inland South West Territory

About the role

Red Bull is looking for a Striker to cover the Inland South West territory in Johannesburg. The role negotiates the elements of the Red Bull Perfect Store across a set of Retail and Impulse accounts, covering availability, visibility, communication and additional placements so that all Red Bull products sell well.

Key responsibilities

• Cover all agreed outlets at optimum frequency in a cost-effective way, completing all calls allocated to your territory
• Maintain and grow the Perfect Store database, focusing on availability, distribution, pricing, visibility, placements and messaging
• Build quality relationships and influence decision-makers with compelling insights and commercial proposals
• Manage orders so that SKUs are always in stock and on display, and keep stock levels high enough for continuous availability
• Secure the agreed in-store presence of the brand, make sure POS is correctly sited and up to date, and ensure promotions run from day one
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time, implement Head Office agreements and follow merchandising standards

Required profile

• Proven sales track record
• FMCG experience (branded or retail)
• Valid driver's licence
• Ability to build and maintain good relationships
• Good selling skills: communication, negotiation and objection handling
• Clear understanding of off-premise channels (retail, impulse, non-traditional)
• Commercial awareness and basic commercial maths

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Mobile field force automation software preferred
