Strategic Relationship Manager – Travel Industry

About the role

The Strategic Relationship Manager (SRM) serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of travel‑industry clients, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet client objectives while driving efficiency, compliance and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain multilevel relationships with PA’s, travel bookers, CEOs, CFOs, procurement heads and other decision‑makers.
• Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Conduct regular supplier meetings and share industry trends and insights with clients.
• Review client presentations and conduct annual surveys in line with service level agreements.
• Negotiate client fees, manage contract renewals and ensure CPI/COLA clauses are applied.
• Monitor financial performance, perform aged analysis, and produce quarterly variance reports.
• Identify savings through preferred‑partner programmes and analyse monthly spend patterns.
• Align clients to standard operating procedures and support new‑business presentations.
• Provide business consulting and confidently sell technology solutions to clients.

Required profile

• Strong business acumen with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Experience in travel services or related client‑facing roles.
• Understanding of financial statements, budgeting and contract management.
• Proactive, organized and capable of managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.
