Store Manager – Sportscene Olivenhoutbosch

About the role

The Store Manager will lead the Sportscene Olivenhoutbosch outlet in Gauteng, overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This full‑time position reports to regional management and is responsible for achieving turnover targets while maintaining store standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive turnover and meet sales targets.
• Control expenses and manage budget adherence.
• Monitor stock losses and keep shrinkage within company standards.
• Lead people management activities including recruitment, staff development, employee relations and performance management.
• Execute in‑store merchandising strategy and maintain visual standards.
• Deliver customer satisfaction by implementing the company’s service strategy.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Minimum 3 years retail experience, including at least 1 year in a store leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, organise work and drive engagement.
• Commitment to the values of diversity and inclusion as outlined in the Employment Equity Act.
