About the role
@Home is looking for a Store Manager for its Loch Logan store in Bloemfontein, working a 45-hour week. The role covers driving sales results, managing people and stock, and delivering the customer service strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Drive turnover to meet targets
- Control expenses
- Manage stock losses so shrinkage stays within company standards
- Manage people, including recruitment, staff development, employee relations and performance management
- Execute the in-store merchandising strategy and standards
- Deliver the customer service strategy and meet customer demands
Required profile
- Matric certificate
- At least 3 years of retail experience, including at least 1 year in store leadership
- Line manager must be aware of and support the application
Required skills
- Sales planning, negotiation and selling
- Customer service delivery and customer loyalty building
- Planning and organising, policy and procedures
- Leadership and accountability
