Store Manager – 45 hrs/week

About the role

The Store Manager will lead a high‑performing retail team at Foschini in Chatsworth, driving sales, customer experience and operational excellence across a 45‑hour work week.

Key responsibilities

• Drive performance through store KPIs such as turnover, rewards, new accounts and visual standards.
• Manage stock losses to keep shrinkage within company limits.
• Achieve turnover targets and ensure the team delivers a customer‑centric experience.
• Motivate staff, foster commitment and implement merchandising strategies.
• Plan and manage staff schedules, training, recruitment and performance management.
• Control expenses, allocate time effectively and manage store‑level risks.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification; tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years of store management experience, with a proven record of driving sales.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Excellent organisational, administrative and planning skills.
• High attention to detail, initiative‑taking and ability to work independently.
• Passion for denim and fashion, and ability to collaborate in a diverse team.
