Store Assistant – Stockroom

About the role

Join Country Road Group as a Stockroom Assistant at the Paarl Mall CRG Standalone Store in Cape Town. You will support the store management team by maintaining an organised, hygienic and safe stockroom, ensuring smooth stock movement and contributing to the store’s sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe stockroom in line with company policies and OHSA standards.
• Process stock movements including returns (RTVs), inter‑branch transfers (IBTs) and waste according to Woolworths guidelines.
• Provide prompt and courteous internal customer service for stockroom requests and inquiries.
• Handle inventory accurately, applying product knowledge to minimise shrinkage.
• Support store operations by keeping the sales floor and back areas well‑stocked and safe.
• Report any incidents of dishonesty, shrinkage or fraud to management.
• Adhere to attendance, dress code and ethical standards consistently.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to goal setting.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level.
• Experience in a retail fashion stockroom environment.
• Ability to deliver exceptional internal customer service.
• Strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills for accurate record‑keeping.
• Reliability, integrity and commitment to attendance and dress code.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and across stockrooms.
